The Top Dresser is fitted with Honda GX200 4.1KW 5.5 bhp(Net power) at 3600 RPM with 1/6 reduction gear box Max output 4.1KW engine at 600 RPM, running on petrol with recoil starting. The fuel consumption at rated power is 1.7 Liter per hour at 3600 RPM. The transmission to the wheels is through V-belt roller chain and gear. The Hopper capacity is 11.5 cubic feet. The spreading width of top Dresser is 31 inches. During the Top Dresser operation the speed achieved is 4 km/hr and transporting speed is 5 KM/hr. The Conveyor Belt is made of Chevron pattern spliced polyestor cord belt. The machine is fitted with 4 smooth Solid Tyres in the rear and single Tubless Tyrein the front. Invariably, we get feed back from users, that of the four Tyres in the rear train, ifone gets puntured, then the entiro axle has to be taken out, which takes almost 48h or more. Internationelly, this is the first Top Dresser using highly expensive solid tyres for ever fitness of machines.
