Two-in-One Machine. Dethatching of Greens and removing Stolen from Nursery
Dethatching the Greens helps in vertically cutting the off-shoots of the grass growing sideways, leading to cleaning the area surrounding each root, whereby the sunlight reaches the root zone with least hindrance. For India mallis /grounds men, this amounts to removing (ghaas-phoos), leaving clean vertical shoots only and hence better speeds .In India this was introduced only in 1994 and the tremendous improvements that you see on all the leading Golf Courses is due to regular DETHATCHING of greens.
ENGINE - Honda Gx160 LHB3 3.6 KW or 4.8 bhp (Net power) running on petrol with reduction gearbox at 1800 RPM.
CHASSIS - 4 mm steel plate construction with strong tubular handle and Operation control at handle bar
DRIVE - Poly F Heavy Belt. Drive is conveyed to shaft in which 25 Blades are mounted
OPERATION - Simple engage/disengage lever for Dethatching operation
CUTTING WIDTH - 45 cms (18”)
CUTTING BLADES - Special steel with high carbon content, fully tempered 25x Blades for Green dethatching for deep dethatching 12 x blades are only mounted.
HEIGHT OF DETHATCHING AND ADJUSTMENT - 25 mm above Ground Level to 22 mm below Ground Level. Locking lever provided to set and lock.
BLADES CHANGING - Very easy and simple. Shaft having 25 blades is removed from the side, blades changed and remounted.
BLADE THICKNESS - 1/32” (LESS THAN 0.8mm) for green dethatching .1/8” (3.2mm) for deep dethatching
CUTTING PERFORMANCE - Dethatches 4000 sqft per hour. Normally a medium size green is around 4000 sq ft. Hence approx one hour per Green
CUT GRASS DISPOSAL - Cut grass/rubbish removed remains on the ground, which is swept away by the green mower
WHEEL - Four wheels are provided and the operator walking behind sets the speed of dethatching.
WARRANTY - Fully guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for one year. Engine warranty for 6 months
